Christian joined the RTC team in the Spring of 2013, initially serving as Author Services Advocate to help spread our authors’ messages near and far. Though her involvement has ebbed and flowed based on team needs and her capacity, she is thrilled to remain a member of the RTC family. Her true passion lies in writing and editing, and she is grateful to have found both this space to contribute creatively and these people to support her journey.
Christian spent the past nine years in Undergraduate Admissions at Belmont University and is always willing to dole out free college counseling advice! She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology and a Master of Education degree in Higher Education, both from Vanderbilt University. Raised in Arkansas, she has resided in Nashville, TN (home to Belmont and Vanderbilt) since 1998 and loves the national acclaim her city is beginning to receive!
Like another team member, Kristin Westberg, Christian is a die-hard Vanderbilt athletics fan, with season tickets to football, men’s and women’s basketball, and baseball games. On the rare occasions she’s not cheering on the Commodores, Christian is very active in the Junior League of Nashville and a small group within her church. She also loves reading and (oddly) takes great pleasure in finding errors in books, magazines, even cookbooks. She’ll challenge anyone to an editing duel!
When it was her turn to make a potentially life-altering health decision, who was she to question the qualifications and advice of her physician? Read her quest to find the intangible emotional connection with the person she would place in charge of her healing.
